We’re thrilled to announce that due to recent internal promotions, we now have multiple opportunities within our team for opportunities available for Parking Rangers to join our Ranger Services Team. 

In this role, you'll play a crucial part in enforcing local laws and regulations, focusing on parking enforcement, managing unattended items, and ensuring public safety. Your expertise will also be instrumental in developing and implementing educational programs to enhance understanding and compliance within our community. 

As part of your Regulatory Services division, your responsibilities will include:

• Investigate and take appropriate action in relation to unattended items;
• Enforce Roads and Traffic Regulations relating to on-street parking, footpath obstruction, heavy vehicles on local and main roads and disabled parking in privately owned car parks;
• Ensure accurate and decisive professional service is provided to the community, ensuring confidentiality is maintained and matters are dealt with in a timely manner; and
• Develop and implement education programs for Ranger Services.

Remuneration

$79,228 - $91,738 per annum plus superannuation

About you

To be successful in this position, you will have successfully completed a Certificate IV in Local Government (Regulatory Services) or Government Investigations or have  another relevant equivalent qualification, have previous experience as a Parking Officer, Ranger or in a related regulatory role. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to negotiate, resolve conflicts, exceptional customer service skills, ensuring positive interactions with members of the community.
