Are you ready to make a real impact in your community? We’re on the search for an enthusiastic Emergency Management and Resilience Coordinator who is passionate about building a safer, more prepared community! 

In this important role, you’ll lead the development and coordination of our Council’s emergency management efforts, focusing on building community resilience and preparedness for future disasters, as well as supporting recovery from events like bushfires and floods.

You’ll work closely with government agencies, residents, community groups, and various stakeholders to identify community needs and vulnerabilities. Your goal will be to implement initiatives that effectively address these challenges and strengthen our community’s ability to respond to emergencies.

Remuneration:

$103,318 - $118,815 per annum plus superannuation

About you:

To succeed in this role you will need a degree or postgraduate qualifications in emergency management, social sciences, community welfare, or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience. Strong knowledge of emergency management legislation, community development, and disaster recovery principles is essential.
