About the Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced administration professional to utilise their skills and background to provide their support to our Development Services team!
As the Engineering Assistant, you will be the go-to person for assisting our Engineers; whether it is ensuring that Section 138 and Section 68 applications, Subdivision Works Certificates and Subdivision Certificates are processed in accordance with statutory and Council timeframes, liaising with key stakeholders and resolving enquiries in a timely and professional manner or identifying business improvements, your work is crucial to facilitating a high quality service to our community. The Engineering Assistant is also responsible for uploading approvals to and from the planning portal.
The successful candidate will hold a Certificate IV in Business Administration or other equivalent qualification or have relevant industry experience. A good understanding of design plans, relevant legislation and the planning process is required to be successful. Being the first point of contact for our customer enquiries, you will rely heavily on your strong customer service skills and commitment to providing a high quality service to our community within agreed timeframes.

Remuneration
$68,740 - $79,594 per annum plus superannuation
