About the Opportunity

In this key role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality learning and development services to support the growth of our workforce, ensuring that training initiatives align with both legislative and organisational requirements. You will coordinate and deliver a variety of learning programs in collaboration with key stakeholders, including directors, managers, and supervisors, while enhancing workforce capabilities.
Additionally, you will assist with the Coordination of Council’s Apprentice, Trainee, and Cadet program, offering mentorship and guidance to ensure participants meet role requirements and successfully complete their qualifications. You will also serve as a key point of contact for the Council, providing expert advice on learning and development activities and conducting training needs analysis.

Remuneration
$87,711- $100,867 per annum plus superannuation

About You
To succeed in this role, you will have a bachelor degree in Human Resources Management, Business, Commerce, or other relevant qualifications. Demonstrated experience in a similar learning and development role. You will have proven capability in designing, developing, and facilitating learning initiatives and programs, supported by strong skills in building effective systems and processes and a clear commitment to continuous improvement. Experience in managing training requirements for staff working with plant, machinery, or earth-moving equipment will be highly regarded.
