Expression of Interest – Finance Team Leader

The Finance Team are calling for Expressions of Interest (EOI) from employees, interested in a secondment opportunity in the position of the Finance Team Leader. This opportunity will be for approximately 12 months, starting Mid-January 2026 to the Mid-January 2027.

You’ll drive the vision and leadership of the Finance team, ensuring strong team performance and high visibility of financial matters. Oversee key financial operations, including processing of procurement transactions, payments, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, vendor data, and compliance reporting. This role will suit you if you’re someone who thrives on structure, enjoys the challenge of meeting deadlines, has a knack for tracking down hard-to-find information, and brings deep knowledge of Councils financial systems.

This position is in Grade 8 of Council’s Salary system - $87,711 - $100,867 per annum.
