About the Opportunity

As our Debt Management Officer, you’ll be the main point of contact for debt-related enquiries, guiding community members toward workable repayment solutions and coordinating the debt recovery process with confidence and professionalism.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys engaging with people, resolving problems and contributing to positive community outcomes while maintaining a professional, customer focused approach. You will manage debt and revenue enquiries across phone, email and face to face interactions, build respectful relationships with debtors, negotiate and monitor repayment plans through to completion and coordinate follow ups and collection activities, including working with Debt Recovery Agents when legal action is required.

Remuneration

$81,605 - $94,490 per annum plus superannuation

About You

To be successful in this role, you will hold a Certificate IV in Accounting, Financial Management or Business Management, or have relevant experience in a similar position. You will bring strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain information clearly to a range of stakeholders, along with confidence in negotiating outcomes and resolving conflict in challenging situations.
