About the opportunity

We’re excited to offer a unique and rare opportunity for a People and Culture Coordinator to join us here at Cessnock City Council. In this role, you will lead a multi-disciplinary team in the areas of Talent Acquisition, Learning and Organisational Development, Business Partnering and Employee/Industrial Relations. You will partner with the business to deliver strategic and operational people and culture solutions that meet our operational needs, and improve organisational performance.

Remuneration

$127,917 - $147,104 per annum plus 12% superannuation, and a private use leaseback vehicle.

About you:

You'll bring a degree qualification in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Business Management, or a related discipline, paired with practical extensive experience in generalist Human Resources Management.  Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to effectively collaborate and influence at all levels.

Your pragmatic approach and ability to effectively lead, coach and mentor a team in a fast-paced collaborative environment, will drive our people initiatives forward and foster a positive work environment.
